Its getting clearer by the day that what ISW assessed is that Putin has no intention of ending the war unless he has full control of Ukraine and it is a puppet of Russia. So, now what does the U.S. and NATO do? Its time to get aggressive with sanctions, forcing NATO and EU members to stop buying Russian oil and gas products AND start seizing the shadow tankers. Given what we know, they are being operated outside Admiralty, sorry, Maritime Law and accepted practices. I’ll bet if we pulled a few into a port and inspected them, they wouldn’t pass any set of safety standards.
