All that grey matter was wasted on all that “what it might have been-massive pink slips and RIFs”. I went into it open minded and optimistic He had their attention that TELCONs can’t do. The ADMs/General/Sr Enlisted were very professional; they listened, didn’t do rousing ovations, took the message in and hopefully will fully implement the directions. The “All Flags/Sr Enlisted” at one time/place showed that the Administration means business both in physical fitness and in desires to be ready to inflict a hurt to our enemy. New ROEs and reduction in our no mistake mentality. People can make “minor mistakes” but can still contribute.
By having all together, in one room, all heard the same thing. Bring all together at one time showed the importance of their message; WOKE is dead! DEI is dead! Physical fitness and standard grooming is alive. Maybe I will see a difference in the appearance of our soldiers and sailors in stores and not have to wonder how and why. I just watched my recording of the whole thing on FOX and read the attachment. DOD/DOW will have war fighters and not be an experiment for social programs.
Overall I like what I have heard and read and hopefully will see our military leaders make it happen. Still would like to see some reduction in # of flags, feel there are too many. Hopefully Congress will fund DOW requirements; new technology, sufficient operational level; flight time and steaming days, maintenance and spare parts, pay and benefits. Stop coddling illegals and funding social programs that don’t work.
Need to stop but I’m optimistic!
