This isn’t going to go well for this crew.  I get not wanting to go back into the weather but clearly they were not ready for the approach for some reason.  They had plenty of time and opportunity to take it around when clearly that was the only choice left to them.  Usually this is indicative of a larger management issue and perhaps a punitive go around policy.  I hate to speculate, but something besides pride seemed to be at okay here
