I understand why India is cutting back its purchases of Russian oil, i.e., their economy is much more dependent on trade with the U.S. vs. that what it gets from Russia. The PRCs move is interesting.
Net net is that they will just buy more Iranian oil. Right now, they by about 90% of Iran’s production. The odor of oil for SAMs and Jets fills the air.
