So in the end, what objectives were met?  He “secured” a strait that was open before military action, is dealing with a regime that was more or less in power before being bombed out, and to my knowledge, has come no closer to eradicating WMD that already eradicated a year ago.  I’m not trying to be cynical, but I went through all this with Bush a long time ago and it ended horrifically.  I want this to succeed, but I’m trying to figure out what we got out of this.
