I can't speak in any detail to what I was working on 05/06 although it is long since OBE. I and a team got to sit in a room with several well known Iran experts including a couple who had been on the TV circuit in that timeframe and ask them anything we wanted to about Iran. And we did. This is not news but the Iran mullah regime will never hold up their end of any negotiated deal/bargain and they always are using it as a delaying tactic. Another lesson learned was not to do anything that causes the people to snuggle back up to the regime. The non regime population isn't anti American. We might be going through the motions only for international consumption to show the above.. they don't hold up their end of any agreement.
