First photo of AF DC-130 outfitted to carry and launch Teledyne Ryan's model 154 later named AQM-91 outfitted for parachute landing  or Mid-Air Recovery System (MARS) by CH-3E MARS equipped helicopter.  Initial flights were from Hollman AFB NM, project team later moved to Edwards AFB, CA, in 1970 to be part of 6514th Test Squadron.  Recovery loads on CH-3E caused development of CH-53C MARS system for AQM-91 MARS recovery.  Later, CH-53 MARS used for recovery of cruise missiles and other UAV missiles.  There is an AQM-91A hanging in the AF Museum Hanger,at WPAFB.OH.
