Fellow Vets, I just had the pleasure and privilege of participating in this year’s Honor Flight hosted by the Cape Fear, NC chapter of that esteemed nationwide organization. As explained in the referenced website for the San Diego chapter, it’s purpose is to honor vets up to and including those of the Vietnam era with a (gratis) visit to the monuments of Washington DC and be feted for service to our nation. It was very moving, and I commend it to you.
