Re: All this political chat from former RotorHeads
To bring this back around a bit, the question is not whether or not someone in authority has the right to “double tap” a designated hostile target or not. The question for me is why is SEAL Team Six involved in killing them? These are Tier 1 targets? We have been droning women and children for years. The guy with the largest body count had a Peace Prize probably sitting within arms reach when he ordered the strikes. It’s why I voted to get us out of the game altogether. There has been zero return on any of it and our military looks more like a mercenary force for some bizarre agenda. No ballot box can fix what is happening. At no point was regime change in Venezuela and yet another oil war on the ballot. Literally nobody was discussing it, yet here we are, clearly with the nod of both parties. Democrats don’t care. They just want political points where they can and the military establishment wants Hegseth gone because he won’t let the weak or fat kids play and the fake reporters can’t spy for defense contractors anymore in the name of journalism. You can kill a million drug boats and it probably would not make a dent in the fentanyl game because last I knew, we got the overwhelming major of our supply from Mexico. I don’t even think Maduro is a close second, that’s out of my lane. He has plenty of oil though. When we would send dets to hunt drugs in the Caribbean, they would maybe score once or twice per deployment. As celebrated as the catches were, they didn’t move the street value of cocaine one penny. They also oddly enough did not seem to enjoy these types of resources to get the job done. Not to get weird, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the military is blowing up illegal cargo intended for some CIA backed program in South America. I’m kidding, but also that’s where we are now in my mind. On Fri, Dec 5, 2025 at 6:36 PM Marc Liebman <marc@marcliebman.com> wrote:

I think I have it all figured out! For the last 25-40 years depending on your view point, our Legislative Branch of Government is suffering from a group personality I've decided to call "abdication by decidophobia."

For the last 25-40 years depending on your view point, our Legislative Branch of Government is suffering from a group personality I've decided to call "abdication by decidophobia."
In the last 20 years this "disease" has spread to senior leadership in many, if not most, departments of our government.
In the last 5 years the "We the People," mentioned in early American documents, sensed something was wrong and voted for change but our combined focus was on the wrong Branch Of Government.
We collectively split the vote of 2 poor choices without understanding that the original disease of lame legislative houses was continuing to decline and had created a fertile soil for a great statesmen or a tyrannical nut job to dig in like an invasive species. Where are the great Statesmen or Women of this country?
We never had a chance and won't get anywhere positive until Senators and Congressional Representatives bedridden with this dreaded disease of "abdication by decidophobia." are removed and replaced with "newer models".
So what did I figure out? We need a few New Rules for election of legislators, Mandatory retirement at age 70 and term limits of 4 terms for the House and 3 terms for the Senate.
Feel free to pile on with critique, offer smart ass remarks or even add in some New Rules like no NEW Stock Market involvement of any kind while in office.
Happy Holidays to all unrestricted aviators and their families, and may the New Year revert this email group back to issues where we are actually Professors Emerita.

While we are wishing for changes we should also stop pardoning convicted Drugs Lords and we should take a closer look at the Mexican Drugs connection if we really want to stop the major shipments of illegal and deadly substances into USA. *Lou* On Sat, Dec 6, 2025 at 8:07 AM Brian Miller <brianjmiller1977@gmail.com> wrote:

Its been written up before, the actual units of SEALs participating are never called out in publicity. So news releases & reports only call out "Seal Team 6"! Suppose insiders do actually knew the real units or commands. To the public, they think ST6 is really big and goes every where. Back in my time all the H-3E and H-53C were Jolly Greens....we just let them take the blame!! h On 12/6/2025 10:06, Brian Miller wrote:
