The only thing in common between the A, B and C is the nose/cockpit section, the engine and the mission avionics. The fuselage barrels are all different and the C has bigger wings and tail surfaces. The Cs also have the cooling and computer capacity for the Block 4 software update as well as others. Yah, more weight more drag, basically same engine. Slight adjustment to flight program. Plus a lot of code for weapon and battle mgmt, when it comes. A lot of little flight buddies to do the work.
