Running Board brackets

Is there a difference between the running board brackets on a 1937 38 39 pickup, or sedan, and 1940 41 pickups? I'm more interested in the '37-to '39 brackets because those are the boards that I have. Does anyone have pictures of running board brackets? Thanks Paul
