This rust-free 1941 Willys coupe was sold new in Bakersfield, California. The car has never been out of state having only three previous owners. In 1961, with only 27000 miles, the original owner sold it to a local man that was able to buy the car if he promised not to cut the car up for a drag car. The car maintains all of it's original steel including all the stainless and brightwork. The floors and firewall are original. A 351 Ford and 4 speed was installed as well as the Ford 9 inch rear end. This Willys still maintains the original dash assembly including the steering wheel. The front axle assembly is stock with a Vega steering box and disc brakes. The color is gun metal gray with black leather interior. The next owner appreciated the original condition and built the car with a 5 speed transmission and a 301 Chevrolet small block. The car has plenty of power and runs perfectly. The black plates are the original assigned to the car in the sixties. The car is located in Silverado Canyon,, California. Asking 130 k. Call with any questions or concerns.
