I had the same experience through Honor Flight Austin Texas. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it. Bill Clark Wm. D. As explained in the referenced website for the San Diego chapter, it’s purpose is to honor vets up to and including those of the Vietnam era with a (gratis) visit to the monuments of Washington DC and be feted for service to our nation. It was very moving, and I commend it to you.
