Interesting story. When I checked aboard the USS Guam as the XO and met our CDR Catholic Chaplain, I asked him what did he wanted me to call him? He asked if I was a Catholic or a Protestant, or an Atheist? Surprised, I asked why. He said; if I was Catholic call him Father, Protestant call him Chaplain, if I was an Atheist call him CDR. His Stateroom was next to mine so I felt pretty safe from any “wrath”. Sent from my iPad
