Mike... Sad news. Buck was legendary. All who knew him, served with him, or under him were the beneficiaries of his exemplary leadership. I'm sure he has probably started an NHA chapter in heaven. May he rest in peace. See Gene Pellerin’s message on the passing of Buck Buchanan last night………This is his bio from the NHAHS web page while I await his obit and picture. If anyone has some good pics of Buck, please pass them to me for this page and his Signal Charlie to come…….mgb ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: genep1 <genep1@cox.net> Date: Mon, Jun 22, 2026 at 21:27 Subject: Buck Buchanan Sad to say we lost Buck this evening. He passed away at 7 PM. He had a long Navy career and managed the Off Shore Training Range for Dyncorp. I worked for him in HS-4, ASWWINGPAC and at the training range. The Pellerins and Buchanan’s went to dinner every Friday for over 25 years. Getting old has its drawbacks, you lose too many longtime friends.
