The car has never been out of state having only three previous owners. In 1961, with only 27000 miles, the original owner sold it to a local man that was able to buy the car if he promised not to cut the car up for a drag car. The car maintains all of it's original steel including all the stainless and brightwork. The floors and firewall are original. A 351 Ford and 4 speed was installed as well as the Ford 9 inch rear end. This Willys still maintains the original dash assembly including the steering wheel. The front axle assembly is stock with a Vega steering box and disc brakes. The color is gun metal gray with black leather interior. The next owner appreciated the original condition and built the car with a 5 speed transmission and a 301 Chevrolet small block. The car has plenty of power and runs perfectly.
