Or, learn from my mistakes.Photo:#1] Original 38 firewall#2] I cut it out to make room for the first engine [SBC], should have kept it and merely set it back for clearance#3] Plenty of room now#4] Made cardboard template#5] Made sheet metal firewall#6] Welded it in however, I then discovered that the firewall was too thin and the doors were sagging!#7] New firewall, THICKER, this worked well, no more door sagging#8] Firewall painted [now BBC], done.
